VILDABUS – 50 is used to lower blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus either alone or in combination with certain other medicines like metformin. VILDABUS -50 is a dipeptidyl – peptidase - 4 (DPP-4) inhibitor. It work by blocking the breakdown of incretin hormone in the body, by increasing the levels of incretin harmones in the blood, VILDABUS-50 stimulates the pancreas to produce more insulin, when blood glucose levels are high.
