RIFOBUS is used to treat travelers diarrhea caused by E.Coli bacteria. Rifaximin is a gastrointestinal selected antibiotic having broad spectrum antimicrobial activity with excellent safety profile with minimal drug interactions and negligible impact on the intestinal microbe. RIFOBUS-550 is used to prevent episodes of hepatic encephalopathy in patients having liver disease and also in patients of IBS( irritated bowl syndrome).
