SITAGIL-50 is a member of the gliptin class of Antidiabetic Medications, to treat type 2 diabetes. By enhancing active incretin levels, SITAGIL-50 increases insulin production, and lowers glucagon secretions from alpha cells, which decreases hepatic glucose overproduction.
